Description

Welcome to Ferry Beach and the year of Mineral in the Dagara Cosmology!
As nature connects us to our true self, mineral connects us to our deep self and our fundamental purpose. Mineral represents the ancient knowing of the DNA in our bones, of who we are and what we have forgotten. It connects to story and communication.

All great foundations of beliefs come from this source back and back. The ancient ones call us. Are we ready to hear? Join us as we open our minds and suspend all expectations.

Throughout our time together we will interlace meditation, yoga, lots of hands on healing (Reiki), aromatherapy, intuitive work and sharing along with ritual to honor our ancestors and the earth itself.

You do not need to be trained in Reiki to attend.

This retreat is a chance to renew, reconnect and rebalance. For practitioners, it is a chance to relax and receive.

Please bring two very LARGE size stones (similar size ones on a stone wall) from nature to build our shrine and any bones you may want to add. Also bring small stones for our altar. There will be a sound healing with the stones during our week for donation.

There will be beach time in the afternoons and a chance to sign up for foot reflexology.

Our Location

With 32 acres and 19 buildings, Ferry Beach is a retreat community center with 1000 feet of beach front in Saco, Maine. A collection of meeting spaces, wide porches, an art studio, an outdoor chapel, a performance space, a wonderful dining hall, a campsite, a volleyball court, the beach and playgrounds, Ferry Beach is a respite away from the everyday world. Retreat Leader

Jeannette Duffau is a teacher and healer who facilitates women's retreats, trainings, has led holistic healing programs for hospital staff has an active healing practice working with individuals with intuitive counseling and hands on healing.
Her background training as been in healing arts and indigenous practices, psychology, intuitive development, positional therapy and nursing with the intention of healing the whole person.

She has facilitated workshops and trainings for the last 5 years at Ferry Beach, teaching Reiki and offering the women's healing retreat program. Learning from indigenous traditions, her joy is to bring together groups or "tribes" for healing, magic and transformation.

"It is my intention to hold all work with compassion, caring and safety. Within this framework, deep healing and joy can take place."
