Description
The Beach Getaway is the best of everything Ferry Beach has to offer. The Ferry Beach theme for 2021 is "Imagine" and we’re looking forward to take this time to relax and make that most joyful of noises—laughter! We will be celebrating our 20th year with line dancing sand sculpting, and taking a trip to the East Point Sanctuary in Biddeford Pool. Nancy Webber will once again be offering her yoga and, for lobster lovers, we’ll be having a lobster dinner. The pace is yours, take it all in or simply enjoy the beach and rocking chairs that look out over the ocean. If you are not into agenda and timelines, you are welcome to opt out of any activities and take time to walk, hang out on the beach, create on your own, or visit with friends.
The Getaway is a great experience for single folks, adult children and their parents, friends, couples, siblings or small adult groups.

What You Should Bring
- Pillows and bedding (sheets and blankets or sleeping bag). Linens are available for $28 per bed. Linen packet includes pillow, sheets, blanket, two bath towels, hand towel, and facecloth, and may be requested when registering. All Ferry Beach mattresses have waterproof and hypoallergenic covers.
- Towels and toiletries. If you are staying in one of our dorms (either Underwood, Quillen or Rowland) our bathrooms are communal, so we recommend bringing shower shoes.
- Beach attire and beach towels, sunscreen, bug spray, a flashlight, and a beach chair.
- A fan for your room (and an extension cord). Rooms are not air-conditioned.
- Cash for ice cream at Ferry Beach Store. We sell toiletries, logo merchandise, postcards, stamps, ice cream and more
- Temperatures can vary. Average summer temperatures range from 65-85 degrees but nights can be cool, so bring a variety of outerwear.
- Ferry Beach does not provide alcohol. If you wish to consume alcohol during your stay, you must bring your own and keep it secure.

- Rain gear and bug spray
