Steps to planning a successful retreat:

1. Contact Ferry Beach to reserve your space: [email protected] or 207.282.4489
2. Save the date with your organization.
3. Submit your Ferry Beach contract with your deposit. Give an estimated head count at this time and be sure to notify us if the number increases or decreases significantly (more than 10).
4. Ask your insurance carrier to mail or fax to Ferry Beach a certificate of insurance liability naming Ferry Beach Park Association as the insured.
5. Recruit a planning team to prepare for a fun and stress-free retreat. (Use this website as a resource!)
6. At least two weeks before your retreat, submit the following information by phone, mail, or email:

• Final headcount. You will be billed for this final count as a minimum, plus any additional increase.
• List of requested Ferry Beach provided equipment.
• Any other requests. We'll see what we can do to help your retreat be the best it can.

Sharing the Campus
Often there is more than one group using the Ferry Beach campus at a time. The best way to eliminate conflicts is to be as clear as possible when planning your retreat. Please do not assume that Ferry Beach or any groups sharing the campus with you know what your group will be doing and what Ferry Beach meeting spaces you desire. 

Let us know your plans, your goals, and your hopes so that we can plan accordingly and provide all the groups using the campus with a smooth and successful retreat experience.

Borrowing and Renting Ferry Beach Equipment
Ferry Beach owns some equipment that may be useful to your retreat. (Some equipment is subject to a rental fee.) Please request any of the following items ahead of time to guarantee that they will be available for you:

• Projector & Screen
• Microphone(s)
• Speakers
• Easels/flip charts
• Tables & chairs
• TV with DVD player
• Keyboard
• Art room access
