Join us for a cozy quilting retreat as we enjoy three days of sewing, relaxing and sharing by the ocean!

This is your chance to sew for 3 uninterrupted days with quilters who love returning to Ferry Beach joined with newcomers as well! Bring your own projects to work on in the company of beloved quilters. Large tables​, design walls, cutting and ironing stations will be provided. ​

​1. Conference Package:  $187 per person (for entirety of the weekend stay)
Includes: All daily meals (provided by our onsite chefs in our dining hall from Thursday's dinner to Sunday's Lunch), plus the programming.

2. Lodging:   Price Varies - View lodging options here.
-Quillen or Underwood Dorm Rooms: $90/Night.
Single person dorm lodging is available. *New this year -Complimentary LINENS are INCLUDED in all rooms!*  Please note: rowland dorms & premium spaces are full. 

3. Membership: Must be paid to attend any Ferry Beach program and is due annually. 
-Individual Membership: $40

Register AS A COMMUTER

Quilting by the Bay welcomes you to a special week of convivial sewing. Set up your machine in a comfortably large air-conditioned room. Bring your unfinished work and get input as you need it, or start a new project and enjoy plenty of time and space to work. Many quilters return year after year for this quilting extravaganza – and each year we welcome several newcomers to our Opening Circle with enthusiasm for their participation and their individual projects. You will have a table of your own to spread out your work, nearby irons and boards, a design wall if you need it, and access to a cutting table for managing larger pieces of yardage. If distractions of beautiful fabric make you want to leave your machine and go shopping, we are usually interested in those expeditions, too. And don’t forget the friendships and conviviality of like-minded sewists doing what they love the most.

All conferees need competence with their machines and to have completed a beginner course before enrolling or be considered a confident beginner since basic instruction isn't available during this week. Voluntary projects are offered during the week. A detailed supply list will be sent to all registrants in early July. Finishing work which requires space, such as layering and basting quilts, will be available if space allows.

Enjoy delicious daily meals prepared by Ferry Beach Chef in the dining hall and of course beach time if you need a break from sewing.

Ferry Beach is a beachfront retreat  center in Southern Maine (Saco, ME). Experience a respite away from the everyday world, with 32 acres including many porches, a wonderful dining center, volleyball court, playgrounds, art studio, outdoor chapel and of course the beach!
