Join us for a heartwarming getaway filled with creativity, relaxation, holiday spirit and so much more. Whether you're coming with family, friends, or by yourself, this special weekend promises connection, comfort, and a whole lot of joy! A truly magical weekend awaits... come join us! Here's what you can enjoy throughout the weekend: Friday Evening: A Cookie Decorating Party & A "Ferry Beach" Holiday Movie! Did you know a holiday movie was filmed on our Ferry Beach Campus? We will be kicking off the weekend by showing this movie (it's a local Maine film with many scenes at Ferry Beach, rated PG)! Come see Ferry Beach featured on the big screen! Check in at 3pm and get comfortable in your rooms. Dinner will be served at 5:00pm. After dinner we'll gather in the dining hall for a cookie decorating party (beginning at 6:00pm)! All supplies for the cookie decorating party will be provided. Together we'll celebrate with friends, family and Ferry Beach as you design/decorate your own custom cookies! After the cookie decorating party, you can enjoy a spectacular viewing of the holiday movie filmed at Ferry Beach! If you live locally and want to join us for the cookie decorating party and movie admission you are welcome to do so! Tickets for locals commuting (coming) for this event is just $16 per person, kids under age 8 are free (all supplies included, every person will get a box of cookies to decorate)! You can register here! Saturday: Is a "Free Day", you can have a cozy day drinking hot cocoa and reading a book or if you're looking for an adventure, journey into downtown Saco and across Maine for some holiday fun! There is also a sound and energy healing event tentatively scheduled on Saturday. Be sure to make a trip to the Dyer Library in Downtown Saco and see Ferry Beach's very own special tree in their Festival of Trees event! Here's what's going on locally and in Maine on Saturday: -Festival of Trees at Saco Dyer Museum (Saco) -Saco - Holiday Festival & Parade of Lights (Saco) -Biddeford City Theater Show- A Swingin' Christmas: The Holiday Music of Tony Bennett (Biddeford) Saturday's Show is at 7:30pm. -Portland Victorian Mansion Decorated for the holidays, "Stories of the Season" (Portland) -Kennebunkport Prelude Festival (Kennebunkport) -Freeport Sparkle Celebration (Freeport) -Gardens Aglow Botanical Garden (Boothbay) There's many other various events across Maine... Sunday: Ferry Beach Winter Craft Fair Enjoy festivities at our Winter Craft Fair; browse 40+ craft vendors throughout our campus, a bake sale benefiting Ferry Beach, holiday photo scenes, kid's crafts, and lunch/drinks in DeWolfe.
