Be Transformed!

Teens!  If you are looking for an experience that will change your life, Teen Service Week is the camp for you.  During previous summers, campers have raised a roof in four days, applied plywood to the sides of the house, installed flooring, painted, and landscaped.  Campers and counselors accomplished carpentry feats they never knew they could muster.  Just as they experienced that great feeling of accomplishment, campers knew that they were helping to provide affordable housing for a deserving family.

Sign Up Now!

Only 12 slots are available at this week-long camp for teens 16 years and older.  Sign up early for this unique experience.  Teen Service campers called their days at the Habitat site “life transforming.”  Those were their words!  After a day at the Habitat site campers have free time to relax at the beach, hang out with friends and take part in evening programs. Teen Service Week is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is an inter-faith home building ministry that began in 1976 and is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing throughout the world.  Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland, a non-profit Maine corporation, is a local affiliate.  Its purpose is to address the problem of housing for families in the greater Portland area by using volunteer labor along with donated land and materials whenever possible.
