The General Assembly of our Unitarian Universalist Association is exciting, wonderful, fun, stimulating, and you meet so many interesting folks! But, some years it's not possible to attend. So here's an idea. Join us at the Beach and really feel a part of GA as we watch the proceedings via live video-streaming. We will watch the opening ceremony, the plenary sessions, enjoy the music, and see the parade of church banners from all parts of the country. We will also take time to discuss the issues and observe how our denomination governs itself through the democratic process, just as we do in our local societies. In addition, we will have a chance to join in the Chalice Circle experience, using poetry and readings as the basis for small group discussion, as well as a chance to hobnob with other UU's from a variety of places and churches. So, if Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, isn't in your plans, come to Ferry Beach. This conference has been extended so that there will be plenty of time for beach walks, porch chats, enjoying other UU's, or just being alone and reading or meditating on our beautiful campus. Coordinators: Ruth Goldberg and Rev. Brendan Hadash
