Arts by the
Sea
August 28 - September 3, 2010
Finish up your summer at Arts by the Sea! Learn new art skills and
techniques, or improve on the skills you already have, all in the
beautiful environment of coastal Maine. This year we will be offering
the following tracks:
• Photography led by award-winning photographers, Harriet
Sutherland and Dick Welch.
• Painting & drawing led by artist and art educator Deb Wilson.
• Pottery/polymer clay led by clay enthusiast and artist Connie Gray.
• Weaving led by Boston-based weaver Susan Gilday.
Upon registration, you will sign up for one of the tracks and will
spend your mornings working on projects in that class. During the
afternoon you will have the opportunity to dabble in another discipline,
or you can just spend the time relaxing by the beach. The week
culminates with a “moveable visual-feast” with everyone’s artwork
displayed gallery style.
Whether you have a working knowledge of art or you are a complete
novice you are bound to enjoy this conference.
