MindFlex Core & More Retreat

The MindFlex Core & More Retreat will offer you a deeper understanding of your body's awe-inspiring design for movement, enhancing both fitness and daily activity for the novice or fitness buff. If you seek more graceful movement, enhanced muscle tone, improved coordination or a better understanding of your body, this retreat is for you. The marriage of Pilates and Body Mapping creates a powerful synergy that helps you integrate mind body integrity and excellence.
A full-body workout that builds flexibility, strength and endurance, Pilates emphasizes breathing and developing a strong core to correct posture and teach movement with ease and grace. Body Mapping is the conscious correction and refinement of one's body map, which guides all movement, to produce healthy, efficient, graceful and coordinated movement.
The MindFlex Core and More Retreat begins with assessing your posture. We will explore the power of awareness and how it influences movement in Pilates exercises and in life.
Myra Green is a STOTT certified Pilates instructor and Barre teacher. She loves how the art and practice of this exercise builds a stronger core, increases mobility and flexibility, and improves postural alignment. For fifteen years, she has seen clients develop a more positive attitude, more graceful movement and strength. She works out of her fully equipped home based studio and multiple off site locations in the Boston metro area.
Vanessa Breault Mulvey brings over a decade of experience assisting people of all backgrounds in finding fluidity and ease for wellness and improved performance. A licensed Andover Educator, she utilizes Body Mapping along with experience in Feldenkrais, flying trapeze and physical fitness to guide clients in refining movement to overcome movement related pain and limitation. Vanessa is on the faculty at the Longy School of Music of Bard College and a founding member of the Flying Flutistas project.
