Labor Day Weekend Friday, September 1–Monday, September 4
Celebrate with us the last weekend of the summer of 2017 with an all-you-can-eat barbecue, live music, family games and activities, the beach and much, much more!
On Friday night come join us for a summer bonfire complete with s’mores and Campfire Sing-along in the Grove campground. Saturday morning, enjoy your breakfast on the porch watching the sunrise over the nearby ocean. We’ll have work projects for those who want to get their hands dirty and a couple hours of organized art time for young and old alike.
Saturday morning we will have Music workshops by Musicians of the Week-end, Ellie Rolnick & Carol Thompson (Ukulele Workshop 9-10am). In the afternoon you can join us for Ecology on the Porch 1:00-2:00 with Sue to talk about Camp Ellis, Ferry Beach and Erosion. At 2:00 there will be a field trip to Saco Heath, in Saco--everyone will have time to get back in time for the BBQ!
This year’s Family Picnic schedule includes music from duquette and an all-you-care-to-eat barbecue from 4:30-8:00pm on Saturday, along with games for adults and children during the picnic. Check it out!
Sunday morning after chapel service, join us for a gourmet brunch, including lobster mac-n-cheese, and much more. We will have Printmaking in the Art room. After that, be ready for fun and games on the beach.
Monday will say goodbye to the summer of 2017 with a sing-along after breakfast. Don't miss out on our fabulous last weekend of the summer!
