Campers choose from three specifically focused Morning Tracks: Outdoor, Theatre, or Art. Participants work together during the week, forming bonds and supporting each other through the challenges and opportunities of each track and the additional activities offered.
Afternoons consist of stand-alone workshops planned and implemented by youth and adult staff together. Workshops have included baking cookies, volleyball, active games, football, dance, discussion groups, Mandala drawing, worship planning, lighthouse walk (if the tides are right), or jam sessions for those who play musical instruments and/or sing. Of course, there is always time for hanging out with friends on the beach.
Evenings are spent relaxing and socializing during planned activities including “Warm Fuzzies” (a special Beach tradition with the youngest Ferry Beach campers), a bonfire with s’mores and singing, a dance, the weekly Ferry Beach Talent/No Talent show, and a bridging ceremony for seniors.
This year, come to a camp with a purpose: friendship, personal growth, new experiences, and just plain fun!
