2010 Board Goals

Vision: Ferry Beach Park Association serves the Unitarian Universalist community by providing a welcoming place that supports individuals of all ages, families and congregations in their search for spiritual growth and in faithful living. 

Mission: The purpose of Ferry Beach Park Association (FBPA) shall be to generate missionary power throughout the Unitarian Universalist Association; to celebrate, honor, explore and enhance the values of Unitarian Universalism in order to empower individuals to live those values in their personal journeys toward self-understanding and spiritual awareness. 

Goals:

• Honor our community’s trust by finalizing construction plans for building projects and arranging appropriate financing by keeping expected expenditures within incoming cash flow projections.

• Develop committee structure, including Marketing, Facilities, Stewardship, Finance, Personnel, Program, and empower members to carry out respective charges.

• Engage membership in community endeavors and strengthen communications.

• Raise awareness of Ferry Beach programming by expand relationships with congregations, district and UUA organizations.

• Exercise fiscal responsibility by reorganizing roles and strengthening volunteer support.

• Begin development of a comprehensive risk management program.
